Fees and Pricing

SteakHut Fee Structure

The fees accrued within the SteakHut ecosystem can be categorized as follows:

1. Platform Fee (Rewarded to SteakHut)

This fee is acquired based on rewards earned across all strategies within the SteakHut ecosystem. It plays a crucial role in supporting the continued development and maintenance of our platform and rewarding profits to STEAK-holders.

This is a performance fee only and is accrued solely on swap fee rewards and not on underlying principle nor during withdrawing/depositing.

2. Performance Fee (Rewarded to the Vault Manager)

While deploying a vault on SteakHut is entirely free, strategists and liquidity managers who actively manage these vaults have the option to charge a Performance Fee. This fee is determined and set by the vault manager and is earned as a reward for managing the vault. It serves as an incentive for vault managers to optimize and enhance the performance of their strategies.

This is a performance fee only and is accrued solely on swap fee rewards and not on underlying principle nor during withdrawing/depositing.

What is the SteakHut Platform Fee?

The SteakHut platform fee is taken as a percentage of swap rewards across all strategies created using SteakHut's tooling.

This is a flat fee across all strategies.

Platform fee= 2.5%

What is the SteakHut Performance Fee?

Liquidity vault strategists can opt to charge a performance fee, which is a percentage of the total swap fees earned by the strategy.

SteakHut charges a performance fee of 0-20% on our in-house liquidity strategies.

Ensure to check the dApp for the most up-to-date fee structure for a particular liquidity strategy

SteakHut only ever acquires fees on rewards, never on the user's principle

How are fees used?

SteakHut rewards a portion of fees to STEAK-Holders (currently 50%). When rewards are accrued they are held in SteakHut's treasury and can be returned to STEAK-Holders via the STEAKING rewards application.
